On November 14th, 2020, our son, Deyvi, lost his life in a firearm accident.
In 2021, we formed The Deyvi Coreas Jr. Foundation, Inc. to honor Deyvi’s life and ensure that no other family endures the tragedy we experienced. Our mission is to save lives through education, community outreach, and advocacy for responsible gun storage and common-sense safety practices. We firmly believe that tools like gun locks, secure storage cases, and gun safes can prevent tragedies — and this is a fight we can win.

Over the past five years, our organization has hosted multiple community events, distributing free gun locks to more than 400 families.

Along with family-friendly activities, our events have included safe gun ownership training and first aid instruction provided by qualified partners.

Through these efforts, we strive to build safer homes, safer communities, and a safer future for all children.
